This is something you do unintentionally weekly, if not daily.
She’s skinnier than I am.
Her house is prettier.
Her marriage is great.
I wish I had her life.
I wish I could have a family of my own.
I wish I were further along in life, instead of feeling stuck here.
I wish. I hope. I want...
Sound familiar?
Comparison. It sneaks in quietly, often disguised as motivation, but quickly becomes a thief. Robbing you of your joy, your peace, and your gratitude. We scroll through carefully curated snapshots of other people’s lives and wonder why ours doesn't look the same. Why their version of “success” seems more beautiful, more complete.
But here’s the truth: Comparison only steals from you if you let it.
What if, instead of letting those thoughts spiral into discouragement, you chose to turn them into something powerful? What if you saw someone else's success as proof that it’s possible for you too? What if you used those feelings as fuel not to copy someone else’s life, but to intentionally build your own?
In my latest podcast episode, I talk more about this. Let's change the narrative together and create a life worth loving!
