Finding Joy in the Crazy!

In seven short days, I had two separate school Christmas concerts, a dance show, a church Christmas pageant, the Pentatonix concert (picture from that above), and with the help from our community and a village of amazing hearts, delivered Christmas joy to almost 300 kids through our non-profit organization called Project Joy.

I loved every second if it!

Watching my kids perform, all the beautiful Christmas music, and spreading a whole lot of love got me completely in the mood for this season!

There was a time with all of this that I would have been exhausted, whiny, and complaining about all the running around. But that all changed when I hit this realization that time is such a thief and these years will be forever gone someday with my kids and I will never get this time back.

We have the choice here, to be exhausted or embrace the chaos.

I challenge you if you are feeling all "negative nelly" right now to take a step back and re-posture your heart.

There are moms out there praying to be busy, to wrap a present for a child, to get someone ready for a special event, or even to ugly cry while they watch them on stage at an elementary concert singing off tune and dancing off beat.

We need to remember not to take our title as Mother for granted. It isΒ an honor and a privilege and if you are feeling all things exhausted right now, then my dear you are the only one who gets to change that ;)

So I am off for the remainder of this week last-minute wrapping and prepping and losing my mind and loving every moment of it!

Love + Friendship, Megan

PS. If you ever have the opportunity to go to a Pentatonix Christmas concert, GO!!!
