If it isn't scary, then the dream isn't big enough!

This weekend, I had the privilege of speaking in front of an amazing audience of flower farmers.

They were all at different places in their journey of pursuing such a beautiful passion, but they also had many things in common this weekend. They have all said yes to a dream. They said yes to learning and growing. They said yes to making an impact in their homes and community. They said yes to an unknown journey. They said yes to both hard and joy. They said yes to something bigger than they truly know.

Do you think that first yes was scary for them??? It better have been! Otherwise, they are all dreaming too small.

Our yeses in life should freak us out to the fullest. They should require a lot of praying, a lot of hoping, a lot of mistakes, and most importantly a lot of joy in our heart.

Some of you said yes to being a spouse, mom, business owner, podcast host, new job, or maybe moving to a different place. Those are all BIG and scary yeses... But think about your life if you had said no instead? Stayed comfortable, small, and safe?

You would be leading a pretty unfulfilled life. Most importantly, you would never know the impact you made on someone else by staying in comfort.

So I want to encourage you today. Your big yes matters! It should be scary or you are simply not dreaming big enough. It should make a big impact and dent in this world as people are counting on it.

Whatever that looks like for you and what your heart is telling you right now, lean in and allow it to lead you even if it scares you.

Keep dreaming big and don't let other people (especially those who are not called to do what you have been called to do) dim your dreams. They are YOURs, not there's.
