Let me introduce the girl behind You Matter

I know many of you are new to following my website and email list and so I thought it would be appropriate to give you a little "about me" update and my heart behind You Matter.

💍 I married my perfect opposite 15 years ago this October. We did things rather quickly and struggled our first few years of marriage. Now I think we have a pretty amazing relationship today and are both huge advocates of keeping a marriage alive.

💗💙💙💗 I have 4 kids! Three of them grew in my tummy, and our youngest grew in my heart through adoption. Our oldest daughter Jaida is 13. Then came two boys Acen (10) and Lennon (7). Our youngest daughter Maren is in her wild two-year-old toddler stage... Our house is loud.

🌞 I have always had a deep passion for both helping people and gift giving. I was a hairdresser right out of college for about 5ish years, went into Medicare insurance for 5ish years, was a brick and mortar boutique/flower shop owner for 5ish years with two other ladies, and then God called me to go fly solo out into this world which I think has been the hardest thing yet.

🍭 In this last year, I started an Etsy shop heavily catered to send gifts and encouragement to those in the adoption space. But I don't love following strict rules, so You Matter Boutique (and online store) was born. This store allows me to fill my gift-giving heart to the fullest with shippable gift boxes to send anywhere in the USA to help others feel loved and like they matter to someone.

❤ I also have a "gift to gab" so I started The Megan May Podcast where I come to you with real and raw conversations about mom life, marriage, adoption, relationships, and faith.

🍩 I hosted a women's event in March called Believing in You and plan to do several more in 2025!

💞 I recently became an author to the book From Zero to Four which has been wild. It is about my journey of living a life that I never planned to live.

More than anything I want you to know in this blog that I am far from normal - I am pretty crazy actually! But I am a real imperfect person behind the brand with a family to support and a big heart for trying to make this world a better place and encouraging you to do the same!
