Let's all learn from the two year old!

I was trying to think of a name other then "terrible twos" because its not that our daughter Maren's new stage in life is "terrible" per say, its just a new phase that hit us hard and we are all trying to adjust accordingly.

Independent, strong willed, confident in doing everything on her own, even if it is for the very first time. And as hard as it is for me to have patience and understanding parenting her , it also makes me envious of this stage.

If we could only be as strong and courageous and brave as her especially when trying new things, think of all the amazing dreams that would come true in our lives!

Right now I am in the process of writing a book, hosting an event, and growing my website and they are all things very new to me and at any given moment can make me feel very weak and unconfident. Sometimes I just want to shrink back to safety but that is not what my heart is telling me right now to do.

So whether your in a new season of life or not, I challenge you just as I challenge myself to put our inner Maren confidence in us, to own this season, to grow in this season, and to constantly say out loud "I do it" or in adult language "I can do hard things" and to not be afraid. - Its actually in the mistakes where we learn the most!

So here is to embracing the "terrible twos" or what I am going to call the "teaching toddler" stage!
