Where the heck did June go?
•Posted on June 25 2024

Anyone else absolutely shocked how fast June flew by? Maybe it was just me because I accidently said yes to a lot of things and our calendar was full!
I loved watching my kids try and learn and do all the fun sporting things this month, but I am also looking forward to a slow down in July and to actually enjoy sitting out on my deck or patio in the evenings vs a hard bleacher. Side note- How cute is my son in his little baseball outfit (I am obsessed)
Anyway I thought I would share a few June favorites with you because I love hearing what other people like or enjoy because hey, I might like to try it as well! So take it or leave it but here is my June favorite list
Favorite Podcast - Family Goals Podcast - I have been following couple Graham & Shay Cochrane for sometime and love their values as a married couple but also how they are raising their 2 kids. Its a new podcast so I am loving it so far!
Favorite Book- This Must Be The Place- Jami Nato - Confession, I had zero time this month to sit down and read a book but just read this one a couple months ago and loved it! Its a quicker read and if you are feeling a bit lost in life and want a map home, its a great read!! Love her personality as well!
Favorite Summer Drink- Iced vanilla latte w/oat or almond milk for non-adventurous daytime goodie. I am also a beer girl and just tried the Sam Adams Summer Drinks and liked them all. And for Non- Alcoholic, Jake and I both enjoy a blended Margarita from The Free Spirits Company.
Favorite Dinner- Our whole family loves Kabobs. They all help make them and we add all the things to do them. Marinated chicken, peppers, onions, tomato, or whatever we have in our fridge.
Favorite Product- My bestie got me the "Frownies" product line for my bday and I am loving it. I haven't mastered the actual frownies yet but I am trying.
Favorite Snack- Basic sunflower seeds. That's been my life 3 days a week watching ball and that's been my go-to snack. I know others like the flavored ones (especially ranch) but I prefer plain.
Well that's my list for now! I hope your summer is off to a great start! And don't forget to take time and enjoy things you love as well!
Love & Friendship- Megan
